The Meridian Equidance Harvest Festival, featuring the Meridian Equidance Company, is celebration of music, art, and horses presented in a dinner theater format. The entire show, from conception, production, funding, and performance, is put on by Susanne Winslade and her students. It is a chance for these students to express themselves and their love for the sport of riding in an environment totally removed from competition.
This year's evening was filled with creative interpetations of popular and classic movies such as the "King and I", "The Wizard of Oz", "Narnia","Ben Hur" and many more.
The Meridian Equidance Company is a group of dedicated amateur riders, all students of Susanne Winslade, who see their passion more as an art form than a sport. We hope you enjoyed the show!
It is our belief that we have a responsibility to share our "harvest" with the less fortunate. Therefore the proceeds of this event were donated to the non profit City to Saddle, whose purpose is to provide horsemanship opportunities to children without the means to afford them.
